Throughout my life, I have been deeply influenced by the values and cultural heritage of Indian and European traditions alike. The Sagar School is a culmination of my vision to merge the finest in Indian and European educational practices.

I selected this beautiful and serene campus setting, free from the pressures of urban’s life, in order to develop in the boys and girls a sense of self-assurance and self-reliance.

Education should be all encompassing. Respect for people and culture is at the heart of the School’s belief in equal opportunity. There is no discrimination whatsoever on the basis of religion, community, race, ethnicity or gender. I hope that the School will provide happiness and fulfillment for generations of young people.

The Aims of the School:

DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

I have been involved with The Sagar School from its very inception. Taking the vision of our Founder, Dr Sagar and turning it into the physical reality of a school was an exceptional challenge and opportunity. I feel very proud that the school we have created is unique, beautiful and exceptionally well-equipped.

Overseeing the building of the physical environment of the school has not been the end of my task. Indeed I realize that a school is far more than just buildings and that a truly successful school is one where staff, students and parents come together to form a complete and harmonious community. My experience tells me that this is something which can only be achieved if it is renewed each and every day.

Now my task is to supervise the financial, administrative and daily running of the school. As the school grows and develops, my role evolves. Once I helped to establish the school by acquiring land and build, now I am helping to build something more precious: a community with shared aims, beliefs and ambitions.

I hope that all of you will want to be a part of this community and to be a part of the vision which we all share at The Sagar School.

Dear Parent,

Welcome to The Sagar School – with a sprawling campus of 157 Acres, situated in the lap of Aravali Ranges, within the NCR segment of Dist Alwar (Raj), we are the biggest Not-For-Profit school to have come up in the New Millennium!

The state-of-art facilities in our sprawling campus, bestowed upon us so generously by our revered Founder and Patron, Dr. Vidya Sagar, India’s leading Intellectual Property Rights Lawyer, make our school truly unique.

Recipient of the International School Award (UK) 2010 and affiliated to the CBSE, The Sagar School is characterized by a powerful collaborative and professional culture. We are committed to creating leaders who firmly believe that dreams can be transformed into reality. Therefore, we encourage our students to believe in vision, trust, teamwork and the power of relationships.

The meticulously nurtured learning environment is stress free and fear free. It enables and encourages new ideas to flourish. Students are encouraged to persist in their quest for learning and acquire the requisite skills to excel in this information driven, globalized world.

Our project-based techniques are comprehensive and aim to develop all elements in the taxonomy of learning objectives. Not only that, they are also learner centric, and cater for the holistic development of multiple intelligences. Besides this, we also encourage our students to learn in their own unique mix of Visual, Auditory, Tactile or Kinesthetic ways. While every student follows the general curriculum, s/he is actively encouraged to develop talents and interests well beyond it.

Co Scholastic and Sports activities in our school are designed in such a way that they broaden the opportunities for students to manifest their talent, practice leadership, hone life skills and challenge themselves to develop interests in new areas. Compulsory participation in these activities boosts self confidence and enhances self-esteem as well as fosters positive relationships with peers, teachers, administrators and community leaders.

Being a fully residential co-educational school, the task of providing a home-away-from-home (separate for boys and girls) is a great responsibility. Keeping this in mind our hostels have been carefully designed to provide a safe, warm and caring environment for all our students. During their stay over here we help them to develop self dependence, create lasting friendships and learn the responsibilities and skills necessary to become good citizens besides deriving a set of morals and principles that they can successfully practice for the rest of their lives.

Last but not the least, promotion of a healthy lifestyle is a major concern at our school. Therefore the menu in our Dining Hall provides for an appropriate and nutritious diet so that the students develop healthy food preferences. That notwithstanding, children by virtue of their inexperienced but highly energetic nature are prone to hurt themselves or fall ill once in a while. In order to ensure that they have immediate access to medical services, our school has a fully equipped infirmary with a resident doctor in attendance round the clock. In the rare chance that a student or staff member requires prolonged hospitalization, we also have a tie up with a multi specialty hospital in the neighborhood.

In the end I would like to assure you dear parent  that we at The Sagar School are resolved that our school will always prove itself to be the place where everyone is precious and appreciated for his or her intrinsic qualities. In other words, the atmosphere over here will constantly endeavor to focus on the complete potential of each and every student and will strive to foster in each one an undying enthusiasm for life-long learning. It is my ardent desire that our School forever be the place where staff members, parents and even other stake holders synergize their resources and creativity to enrich the learning environment in which our children can holistically and fully develop their physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual capacities.
